Each Monday, I’ll catalog the biggest and most exciting adult and YA fiction — and the occasional nonfiction — coming out that week.

A BEAUTIFUL CRIME, Christopher Bollen. A couple moves to Venice to seek their fortune by selling counterfeit antiques, but it turns out more difficult that they anticipated. I love an art thriller, so I’ll definitely be picking this one up! Aggregated critical reviews, Indiebound, Amazon.

BLOOD COUNTESS, Lana Popovic. In this YA horror, a young woman becomes a maid to the glamorous and beautiful Countess Elizabeth Báthory. When the murders begin, the maid knows it’s only a matter of time before it’s her turn. Indiebound, Amazon.

CHILDREN OF THE LAND, Marcelo Hernandez Castillo. The memoir by a prize-winning poet about immigrating to America. Aggregated critical reviews, Indiebound, Amazon.

BLUE FLOWERS, Carola Saavedra. A recently divorced man becomes obsessed with someone who is sending him anonymous letters. Aggregated critical reviews, Indiebound, Amazon.

DIAMOND CITY, Francesca Flores. In this YA fantasy, a teen assassin is tasked with going against her boss and killing a wealthy industrialist, and starts questioning why people want him dead in the first place. I’m a total sucker for an assassin fantasy novel, so I’ll definitely be adding this to my TBR. Indiebound, Amazon.

DON’T READ THE COMMENTS, Eric Smith. In this YA novel, the lives of a popular streaming gamer and a teen game developer collide in a game called Reclaim The Sun, which is getting overtaken by trolls with an IRL doxxing agenda. Indiebound, Amazon.

INTERIOR CHINATOWN, Charles Yu. An Asian American bit actor dreams of stardom in a novel that Emily St. John Mandel calls “extraordinary.” Aggregated critical reviews, Indiebound, Amazon.

HIGHFIRE, Eoin Colfer. An alcoholic, has-been dragon living in the Louisiana bayou strikes up a friendship with a 15-year-old on the run from the sheriff. From the author of Artemis Fowl. Indiebound, Amazon.

RUN ME TO EARTH, Paul Yoon. In 1960s Laos, three teenaged orphans become motorcycle couriers, rescuing civilians and delivering medical supplies. Aggregated critical reviews, Indiebound, Amazon.

WHEN WE WERE VIKINGS, Andrew David MacDonald. When she discovers her brother is keeping them afloat by participating in dangerous activities, a young Viking enthusiast becomes determined to reach greatness and support her family. Aggregated critical reviews, Indiebound, Amazon.

THE CIRCUS, Jonas Karlsson. After volunteering to participate in a magician’s vanishing act at a circus, a baker’s friend disappears — and doesn’t return. Indiebound, Amazon.

THE LOOK-ALIKE, Erica Spindler. A woman returns home to learn more about an unsolved murder that killed her classmate, only to become terrified that the murderer once again has her in his sights. Indiebound, Amazon.
